Booking
How do I book a tour with PakistanGate?
Simply browse our tours or use the Trip Designer to find a package that suits you. Once you find what you like, click 'Book Now', create an account, and complete the booking form. Our team will confirm your booking within 24 hours.
What payment methods do you accept?
Currently we accept bank transfers (HBL). Transfer the advance payment to our account and share the receipt on WhatsApp for confirmation. Online payment via JazzCash and EasyPaisa is coming soon.
How much advance payment is required?
A 30% advance payment is required to confirm your booking. The remaining balance is due 7 days before departure. For last-minute bookings (within 7 days), full payment is required upfront.
Can I pay in installments?
Yes, we offer flexible payment plans for bookings made more than 30 days in advance. Contact us on WhatsApp to discuss a payment schedule that works for you.
Cancellation & Refund
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations made 15+ days before travel: 90% refund. 8-14 days: 70% refund. 3-7 days: 50% refund. Less than 3 days or no-show: no refund. Hotel bookings follow the hotel's specific policy.
How do I cancel my booking?
Log in to your account, go to your booking details, and click 'Request Cancellation'. Provide a reason and our team will process your request within 24-48 hours.
How long does a refund take?
Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days after approval. The amount is transferred back to your original payment account.
Travel Information
Do I need a permit to visit Northern Areas?
Some restricted areas like Deosai, Khunjerab, and certain parts of Gilgit-Baltistan require NOC/permits. We arrange all necessary permits as part of your package — just inform us at booking time.
What is the best time to visit Hunza?
April-May for cherry blossoms. June-August for summer trekking. October-November for autumn colors and golden leaves. Winters (December-February) are cold but scenic with snow.
What is the best time to visit Skardu?
June to September is peak season with clear skies perfect for K2 base camp treks. April-May is also good. Winters are very cold and some roads may be closed.
Is it safe to travel to Northern Pakistan?
Northern Pakistan (Hunza, Skardu, Swat, Naran) is very safe and welcoming for tourists. The local people are known for their hospitality. Always follow your guide's instructions and check current conditions before travel.
What should I pack for mountain trips?
Warm layers (even in summer, nights are cold), comfortable walking shoes or hiking boots, sunscreen, sunglasses, a first aid kit, and any personal medications. Rain gear is recommended.
Hotels
Are the hotel bookings refundable?
Refund policies vary by hotel and room type. Flexible rates are refundable if cancelled 24-48 hours before check-in. Non-refundable rates are cheaper but cannot be cancelled.
What does 'Deluxe' and 'Luxury' hotel category mean?
Economy: basic amenities, clean and comfortable. Deluxe: modern furnishings, attached bathroom, better views. Luxury: premium rooms, quality bedding, full amenities, often with scenic views or heritage character.

How do I create an account?
Click 'Sign In' on the top right of any page, then select 'Register'. Fill in your details and verify your email. You can also register during the booking process.
I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
Click 'Sign In' then 'Forgot Password'. Enter your email address and we will send you a reset link. Check your spam folder if you don't receive it within 5 minutes.
